q陶瓷氣體放電管，簡稱GDT，是防雷保護設備中應用相當多的開關器件，浪涌電流大，可達1KA-150KA，絕緣電阻極高，無漏流，無老化失效，無極性雙向保護，靜態電容極小，擊穿電壓分散性較大。多用在通訊線路、通訊配線架的保安單元及高頻電路中作防雷保護。
GDT的選用技巧：
1. GDT的DC Spark-over Voltage應高出被保護電路30%以上的相當大直流或連續工作電壓、電路的額定標準電壓和“高端”容限。
2.GDT的Ipp應大于電路瞬態浪涌電流。
