Standard for the Flammability (Open Flame) of Mattresses and

Mattress/Foundation Sets

The proposed Federal Standard sets two criteria to limit the growth of fire in a mattress or mattress set. The criteria are:

1. The mattress sets must not exceed a 200 kilowatts (kW) peak heat release rate within the 30 minutes of the test.

在30分鐘的測試時間內(nèi)，床墊/床墊套裝的最高量熱釋放峰值不得超過200 千瓦(kW)。

1. The total energy released must be no more than 15 megajoules (MJ) for the first 10 minutes of the test. 在測試的最初10分鐘內(nèi)，總熱釋放量不能超過15兆焦耳(MJ)。

1. 引燃火源(Ignition source)Pine Crib (Source 5) 松木架
2. 防火面料(100%fire retardant fabric)
3. 海棉(polyurethane foam)

主要觀察指標：

1. 明火燃燒時間(Flaming time)   10 分鐘
2. 燜燒時間(Progressive smouldering time)  1 個小時
3. 試樣的質(zhì)量損失(Mass loss) 不超過 60g
4. 燃燒期間發(fā)生的各種現(xiàn)象(All cases during the test)

可見部分的香煙測試(Cigarette Test For Visible Parts)

1. 引燃火源(Ignition Source)：英國香煙 (Ignition Source 0)
2. 非阻燃聚氨酯海綿(Non Fire-Retardant Polyurethane )
3. 面料(Cover Fabric)

主要觀察指標：

1. 明火燃燒時間(Flaming time)
2. 燜燒時間(Progressive Smouldering time) 7、 燃燒期間發(fā)生的各種現(xiàn)象(Any cases during the test) 注意：試樣需要按照標準BS5651：1989進行水洗程序 Note:    Water-soaking      procedure     was conducted    in according with BS5651: 1989 for sample.

主要觀察指標：

1. 明火燃燒時間(Flaming time)
2. 燜燒時間(Progressive Smouldering time)
3. 燃燒期間發(fā)生的各種現(xiàn)象(Any cases during the test) 注意：試樣需要按照標準BS5651：1989進行水洗程序

非家庭用襯墊家具的座椅抗燃燒測試說明

1. 該測試標準主要包括以下幾個部分：

BS1021-1：2006 襯墊家具可燃性評價 燃燒火源：香煙悶燒 BS1021-2：2006 襯墊家具可燃性評價 燃燒火源：相當于火柴的火源

BS5852：2006 通過悶燒和明火燃燒對襯墊家具座椅阻燃性評價的方法

1. 填充材料首先要滿足英國家私及家具防火安全條例1988的測試要求；面料在燃燒測試之前需要進行水洗程序（Ref. BS 1021 或

BS 5651）。 3、該測試標準包括四個危險度等級：低度、中度、高度和非常高度危險，根據(jù)產(chǎn)品所用場合選擇不同的危險度測試。

床墊、長沙發(fā)椅、床底架的阻燃測試說明 

1. 該測試標準主要包括以下三個部分：

BS 597-1：1995 香煙的測試

BS 597-2：1995 相當于火柴火源測試

BS 6807：2006  木架火源的測試

1. 填充材料首先要滿足英國家私及家具防火安全條例1988的測試要求。
2. 該測試標準包括四個不同危險度等級，分別為低度、中度、高度和非常高度危險，我們根據(jù)產(chǎn)品所用的場合，選擇該產(chǎn)品需要做哪個等級的危險度測試。例如，家庭用產(chǎn)品適用于低度危險；醫(yī)院、酒店等公共場所適用于中度危險；監(jiān)獄適用于高度危險等等。
